For anyone geographically challenged, Babylon and Nineveh are in Iraq. It's a bit of a protest song, I guess.

I dreamt last night of Babylon on the great Euphrates' shore
I had a nightmare about Babylon and blood, and smoke, and war
Of the children of America dieing the streets of Baghdad red
And the grinning, laughing whore -- Of Babylon

Well, Jonah preached to Nineveh
And Daniel prayed in the lion's den
We could use a prayer in Babylon
Tell your brother and your sister
That the dictator is dead
But we still need a prayer for Babylon

The sun, it isn't setting, it's just forever noon
I wear a yellow ribbon so the troops can come home soon
But they won't be back till the sun has finally set
